* Not smiling

* Dresses that are inappropriate for your age or have hoops, trains, gloves, hats, or adult jewelry.

* Dresses that don't meet the requirements stated in your information packets. Either too long and draging on the floor or too short.

* Too much makeup (You want natural looking makeup)

* Walking too fast or not fast enough. (Be confident, but natural!)

* Never making eye contact with judges and/or audience.

* Looking back or being impatient.

* Waving or blowing kisses (unless you are under the age of 5).

* Glitter in your hair or on your body.

* Wearing shoes that are uncomfortable and cause you to walk awkwardly.

* Playing with jewelry, hair, microphone cord, or dress

* Slumping instead of standing with good posture and feet in proper stance.

* Chewing gum.
