Any advice for a new pageant Mom?

We can't afford to do two different systems, and she really wants to get involved with pageants, having a cousin who's done them. We'd like to do two or three pageants a year, and I've been told that it's best to stick with one system so that she can learn about what's expected. Can anyone share their experience or advice? Thanks!

Why only stick with one system? You'll never learn about the other great pageants out there! I've heard great things and bad things about both NES and Couto, as well as others, but YOU won't know unless you try them! If your daughter has never entered one before, why not try a small, local pageant? They're usually very inexpensive to enter. Also, they don't require traveling, motel costs, food, gasoline, etc., etc.!! Local pageants are a great start for any aspiring queen!
