The info on the 2007 (last year's) pageant is at http://www.mainelobsterfestival.com/docs/seaprincessgdlines2007.pdf

There is a website http://www.mainelobsterfestival.com/ It has a mailing address, phone number, and contact links. I think the person in charge of the pageant is Sharon Lombardo - 594-4559. The pageant is a big commitment, with volunteering at the festival required of all contestants, as well as mandatory rehearsals and dress fittings. The sponsor fee is $400. The winner's cash prize is $2,000 and the 1st runner-up,$1,000.

Most girls in the pageant are graduates of Medomak, Camden Hills, Rockland, or Georges Valley because of the commitment involved in this pageant. The winner is expected to be at the fairgrounds every day of the festival, and is required to make certain appearances throughout the year, as well, including going to the Big E.

You must be a Maine resident to enter. You can only enter this pageant once! All of the entrants wear the same red dress. How's that for not being judge on what you wear?! Call or email for info soon because they only take the first 20 applicants.

Best of luck!
