well, you won't like my answer and I realize that it will place me (in your mind only) firmly in the category of 'religious nut', but the catholic church is a strong arm of the antichrist - though at the same time, for me the antichrist is in many ways merely a personification of these end times - of the negative polarity

at the same time however, there really are forces on this planet trying desperately to trap as many souls as possible and prevent them from enlightenment - to prevent them becoming christs (in other words - the antichrist). And you (as I was) have been duped into laughing at such ideas. We are truly living a spiritual existence that is beyond your imagination.

But I will say however that I don't know how important it is for someone like you Michael to realize these things because I see you as someone who is on the path for enlightenment, which is the most important path IMHO.

It seems to me that it's more important for those who have given up their personal power to a church and a set of beliefs to wake up and realize that they are being tricked. Those who wrongly believe that God or Jesus, et al will *save* them, when in fact they need to save themselves.

This was the plan of the Catholic church from the beginning (besides terror and torture), from which virtually all other Christian sects branched off from. To tell the masses that they are "sinners" and have no power, they are not worthy, and that they must put all of their trust into Jesus saving them (and belief in the infallibility of the Roman Pope).

(I will say that I do think that Jesus was likely a real person who may have been enlightened - but the antichrist took over his message when the Roman emperor became a "Christian" and then proceeded to re-write the Bible. It's also apparent that the Bible is filled with truth, but the truth has been hidden in allegory).

The Catholic church is really the church of Babylon (a mystery religion). This is why the Pope wears the mitre, which is really a fish head, based on the worship of Oannes:

Oannes taught mankind wisdom - which is the antithesis of true knowledge which is beyond the rational intellect.
