It is not only the Catholic Church that is driving people away. Often, Evangelical Protestant and mainstream churches accomplish the same thing by bad practices on the part of priests and pastors who don't really get it. There are many.

I completely reject your conclusion that the Roman Catholic church is the Antichrist. That is as close as you can come to a ridiculous statement, followed closely by the claim that the Church of England is the Church of Laodicea from the Apocalypse. The Catholic church, along with the Eastern branches, the Coptics and some others, kept the worship of Jesus alive for more than a thousand years, and for every bad priest there were, and are, dozens of deeply spiritual, committed Christian clerics who dedicated their lives to spreading the Gospel and doing and encouraging good works.

I agree that there are "forces on this planet trying desperately to trap as many souls as possible and prevent them from enlightenment," but I always thought they were entertainment and broadcast moguls.

Far from leading their congregants astray, the Catholic churches have maintained the Union with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist as the principal act of worship, as it should be, and was at the beginning of the Christian Church. The evangelical churches who have branched away and made teaching and preaching the focus of worship are in error, especially as they do not recognize the Real Presence of Christ in the Eucharist. I do believe that through the Grace of God they will be saved. There is a time for teaching, but it is not necessarily in the liturgy.

Surrender of self is a common element of many religions. Buddhism expects you to achieve an ego-less state, Islam is built on submission to God, Christianity asks you to surrender your life to God in Jesus Christ. What's the diff?

Christianity in fact teaches that no-one can be good enough to deserve salvation, and that salvation is a free gift of God. The Second Person of the Trinity became a man in order to suffer as a man, and to reconcile us to God. It seems to me to be a good path, and Jesus a good Man, to follow.

The idea that Catholic worship is a mystery religion is no surprise to me. We cannot fully understand the Mysteries of God. That is why we need faith. We know we are worshipping a Mystery.
