Rana, what you wrote reminds me of what my parents told me of their youth back in the 1940ies living in a dictatorial state back then, just without the cellphone thing. i feel very sorry that humans still are not permitted to express themselves the way they feel because of some society's unwritten laws. what you wrote touched my heart in a very painful way. looking from a certain different direction, i understand you as well as your daughter-in-law, although i am not female.

give her a chance as a woman first, a co-fighter for your human right of being equal, females amongst females in a male dominated world. but please never turn it against males just for the reason that they are males. we are humans, too, and we did not have a choice of which gender we were born. maybe this will be the best basis of becoming friends. and relatives, too. i am not the one to judge here as I come from a very different system where women have successfully fought for their human and civil rights long enough.

maybe our adored ms. dibsy jones would write something different as what i just wrote. got no idea, but i know she is a very cultured and educated female with an extremely strong willpower.

these were my thoughts to your matter.

honestly, my highest respect to you.
