  • Here's something I've been working on lately- well, a few weeks back anyway. This is one of those things that comes up out of the creative cauldron I keep in the back of my head, that makes me think I ought to screw that pot lid down a little more tightly. :) It actually does fit into the overall story, and is one of those stories dictated to me by Jamie>>>> -- celtgirl, 10:50:54 04/14/10 Wed
  • Cindy, I'm speechless! I know you are talented, but this is beyond talent, this is pure poesie. Cindy, at first I thought you mentioned me on the pub in reference to Jamie, but I think you knew how the meaning of so much of those words were true to me! It is simply beautiful Cindy, (NT) -- IsabelleKiltup, 11:37:39 04/14/10 Wed
  • Oh that's lovely girl and sort of chilling. What the heck is that man into/up to in this book? Cottage smells and feels great :-) (NT) -- Mahri, 16:09:57 04/14/10 Wed
  • "within my bones the shells of the seas and the dust of the heavens" absolutely poetic and gives me shivers. Have I mentioned lately that I love writing? Jamie's words are beautiful and haunting. (NT) -- Trac, 16:33:13 04/14/10 Wed
  • That brings all new meaning to the nursery rhyme, 'There Was a Crooked Man!' I agree with Marilyn - lovely but also eery. Especially this part: This is more curse than gift, for if you can see me, let me assure you, I will come to you. I can sure see Jamie dictating this! If anyone can flit back and forth between the cracks, it would be him. (NT) -- Elaine, 16:39:57 04/14/10 Wed
  • Good Goddess, woman, but that sent shivers up and down my spine. Reading the piece where Jamie explains who the Crooked Man is did make me wonder if it's not a personification of his depression, it's the darker part of himself which he sometimes simply cannot defend against and which in a strange way makes him whole -- the dark aspect to his light self which attracts animals etc. (NT) -- Carla, 17:33:17 04/14/10 Wed
  • Oh Lordy, I've got shivers! My poor guy visits some dark places and that crooked man is nothing I want to run into in some dark passagway. Lovely, in a scary sort of way, Cindy! (NT) -- Denise, 21:11:48 04/14/10 Wed
  • Wow! After reading this and then its context...I just want to cry for Jamie. The story is so well written, Cindy. Spooky for sure, but something more than that. (NT) -- Lil, 09:28:10 04/18/10 Sun
