        • Yes, that is what is wrong with ID in Glasgow/Scotland these days. They have too much power and influence. They are all getting on now though, are any going to retire gracefully?           • Looking at the SRC web page and then at the CLRG committee web page I am interested to see a few names pop up in a multitude of positions. How can this be good for the growth of Irish dance in Scotland? If the same people that run the schools also run the feis and the Qualifiers and the Worlds there surely must be a conflict of interest? I'm sure there was a time, when Irish dance was smaller than it is today, that if these individuals didn't do these jobs then no one would do them and Irish dance and culture would suffer. Those days are gone and in today's big business Irish dance world could it be time to open things up a bit?             • That is exactly my point. It is not good for Irish Dance, it never has been, but nowadays there is no need for it. It should and could be run as a business with a Boss that is unifiliated to any of these people, and therefore gives the parents someone to apprpoach with a grievance. These people control everything and it has to stop. If you look at the new TC's that have recently started up they are mostly related to someone on the Council anyway, they are just taking over schools, so the circle starts again.
