As a direct result of the questionnaire, we intend to do the following at this year's feis:
1. Amend/split the senior age groups, depending upon entry numbers and subject to permission from the Southern England Regional Council;
2. Alleviate hall congestion where possible, within the constraints of the venue;
3. Improve grade awards to include sashes for the winner of the reel and the heavy jig competitions;
4. Depending upon time, also have a podium and music for the reel presentations;
5. Improve the sound system in the sports hall;
6. Have dedicated changing areas adjacent to the main and sports halls;
7. Set up a photo area in the sports hall, with a backdrop available for photographing dancers.
As you may know, major features this year include:
* Championships with nine adjudicators - three for each round - scored as per the North American Championships;
* An open set dance competition for those who do not recall in our championships, so that everybody gets to practice their set before the World Championships.
Please note we already do the following:
* We are happy to help with travel advice to/from our feis, and can arrange transport for groups arriving from overseas at the request of the TC;
* Will as usual draw the order of championship dancers from a hat, side-stage, to ensure fairness;
* Publish the days of competition well in advance, then the running order, then the final timetable - see our syllabus;
* Publish up-to-date details of travel and accommodation, including telephone numbers and approx costs - again, see our syllabus;
* Have boards up at the side of each stage, stating clearly what is currently happening;
* Have clear signposting, starting some miles from the feis! :o)

We do appreciate that this is a busy period leading up to the All Irelands but we would like to remind everyone that the closing date for entries to our feis is Sunday 17th February.

The floor in hall B was terrible! Nothing bt slips and trips for most of the competitions! Im surprised noone was bdly injured. I think puting stuffon it dusnt help & I think they shuld either gt a new piece of flooring or dont use it ever again. This is only mine and daughters opinion ... she feel she could of done better if it wasnt like an ice rink!
