• Hi there - I'm not a parent, but a dancer and I think the advice you were given on the other board (174296) is pretty sound. These girls are obviously jealous of your daughter, and she shouldn't allow them to chase her away from the class/teacher she's happy with. There's alot to be said for walking away, but in doing so it just tells these girls that all they need to do to get their own way is to bully people. The other posters are right, the teacher needs to intervene here and make it clear that this kind of behaviour isn't allowed. Your daughter really ought to go back, otherwise she'll find it harder to stand up for herself if it happens again. Speaking as someone who was bullied in the past, I know how hard this is, but your daughter will feel stronger for having faced up to these girls and not allow herself to be cowed by them.
