Waverley station is well sign posted and there is also a small tourist info station with helpful info. Waverley station has elevators and escalators as well as stairs. The Royal Mile is not far from the train station but remember Edinburgh is hilly so there are taxis at each exit who will take you directly to your accommodation if you don't fancy the walk with a lot of luggage. hope you enjoy your visit.
