How do people afford to go up and down the country every week to feis and attend all the majors? A new dress every year and shoes and wigs etc. It's so expensive but you see the same dancers everywhere every weekend. Do people just work very hard and use all their wages to finance this very expensive hobby? How can people that don't work afford it? I would love to be able to go every weekend but I need to pay for other things. I don't begrudge people who can..just wondered can you do it all on a budget? car pull? Take it in turns to help each other? We used to have a group of us who where 13-15 and 1 or 2 parents would take a group of 4 to 6 dancers and then another 2 parents would take their turn and so on.
