Author: Some age groups in Ulster, every dancer will recall at Worlds.
Subject: It is so, so hard to get a recall, I think for majority of regions it is Top 2, sometimes in Scotland only top 1. Ulster seems tobe able to produce multiple recallers, but it is incredibly hard to qualify there.
In reply to: dm 's message, "going to the worlds if you qualify down the line. looking at recalls over last few days and most the the 2 top qualifiers who have recalled. do most people feel that you are always up against getting a recall when the standard is so high." on 10:32:46 04/01/15 Wed

  • Agree with this, if my dd qualified in 5or6 place I would be wondering would it be worth the cost to travel to America or Canada for the dancing experience.I dont have that probem as she has never qualified. I do wonder why parents blow their cash on going when their dds arent challenging for the podium at local feis (NT) -- They aint going to go to the Worlds and take on the Elite in their age group., 08:15:02 04/13/15 Mon
  • my daughter qualified for the first time this yr .always just missed a spot . I said I would never go that distance to dance but after all the yrs put in I deceided we would go and I am so glad we did . didnt expect to recall and didnt she was realistic and said that this was her goal to dance at worls . She is now retiring from comp but still dancing for the love of it (NT) -- Mum, 23:17:20 04/14/15 Tue
