Subject: DM, we attended this year and had a great time. The people of Glasgow could not have been friendlier. We stayed in the Radisson Park Inn, walking distance from the venue. There are closer hotels though, like the Holiday Inn Express and the Premier Inn. A listing of hotels and the price will come out in plenty of time.
In reply to: DM 's message, "Speaking of the All Scotland's, we are coming from the U.S. for the 1st time. Any suggestions on where to stay and what to do while we are there?" on 18:32:05 09/06/15 Sun

It isn't like NANs where you must stay in the host hotel or pay a facility fee. Everything in Glasgow was fairly close - the venue is right in the midst of the main shopping and plenty of places you can eat and celebrate around there. We also did a day trip to Edinburgh was was lovely, and my husband took advantage to golf at St. Andrews and Turnberry, so he was in heaven. I hope we get to return!!
