Adjudicator Draw
Adjudicator Panel Selection Process

The draw for the Great Britain Championships adjudicator panels will take place daily, 15 minutes before competitions commence.

It will be a public event, taking place in Reds at 11.45am on Friday and Reds all other days at 7.45am. All adjudicators will be in attendance.

Panels will be made up of three adjudicators per round. Each panel will contain one adjudicator from Great Britain, one from Ireland and one from the Rest of the World.
The Adjudicators will initially be split into three different pots according to their respective regions, namely;
POT 1 - Ireland POT 2 - Rest of the World
POT 3 - Great Britain
Cards with the names of the adjudicator will be placed in individually sealed envelopes and then into their respective pots.
At each step of the process, draws will be made by a random member of the audience and the selected envelope opened in full view.
STEP 1 will be a draw from POT 1, to place one adjudicator from Ireland in each of the 5 panels.
STEP 2 will be a draw from POT 2, to place one adjudicator from the Rest of the world in each of the 5 panels.
STEP 3 will be a draw from POT 3, to place one adjudicator from Great Britain in each of the 5 panels.
At this stage each panel will have ONE adjudicator from each Region.
Then a member of each panel draws a number from 1 to 5 from a separate POT. This number relates to a pre-assigned colour on the days’ timetable which will decide which panel adjudicates each round.
We believe this process gives full transparency to the viewing public and ensures the best possible geographical representation per panel of adjudicators.
