Author: If you don't the city, its not a very nice walk. Loads of hotels much closer. Try the Millenium or Carlton George for something 'fancy' but Travelodge, Premier Inn, right beside venue and are great value
Subject: Sorry, but I don't think it is really a walking distance, you can't just pop back and forth, it's all very main busy roads, with lots of pedestrians also.
