So Ive been dwelling on this all day and I think I figured something out. When I cut the Cs, I attach them end to end sewing them into 1 large circle. THAT is what makes the gathering still stay the same size right? It just totally clicked. lol. I've been staring at my louky skirt trying to figure it out. I hope Im on the right track.

Yes, you got the "C" correct!! Use more underruffles to get a much fuller skirt, the my pageant kid patterns are a bit out of date, you use more underruffles than "C"s for the really full skirts that are used now. -- click in for more..., 07:03:48 08/03/10 Tue
- Thank you! Im hoping my foot will come today. I have a TON of extra fabric to practice with before I use what I want to make my skirt with. My ODDs LLD skirt has 2 underruffles and two top layers. Her previous CF had 2 under and 2 top so I'ma start with that. Im so excited! Because of my first frustration, Ive been trying to BUY skirts. lol. But, now, I may finally be able to do them myself. One more question, though. Using MPKs pattern, how many Cs make 1 layer? Today, Im going to boil the fishing line for tighter curls.   - If you cut the fabric on a bias, it will curl tight with tension on the fabric. I have tried the roll and boil when I first started and found that process broke down the fishline and didn't give a consistant curl.
