I know that's true,
but it's so hard....
year after year
it's always the same,
"your piece was not accepted,
pick it up on these dates ..etc."

This is about submitting my art
into an art show, and having it
repeatedly being rejected.
makes me question myself
and my abilities... sigh

it's not my nature to give up,
so i know i'll try again,
jus hope that day comes soon
when acceptance is sent my way...

it gets harder and harder
to pick up the pieces
after being rejected
so many times in a row.
