Cluster of roses
on the windowsill,

draped with a babyish morning.

Murky sky,
curtains of downpour,
added to their sweet languor.

Caressing a canvas,
brushes uttered softly,
feed them in the gentle spray

I kept my windows stretched out,

little ones
slept unperturbed;
velvety lips
curved in bliss.

Dreamy odor painted
fresh colours.

I enjoy how you take a subject
and peel it open slowly.

One other thing I would like to mention
is that a real nice thing for any poet
to work on is to introduce senses into
their poetry.

Here you use the sense of smell wonderfully.

It layers poetry and invites the reader
into the poem.

Enjoyed Much!

thanks,
andy

Dear All,

I just love your praises! In fact, it is partly true that I write to get such praises!

Cheers.

Hello Arunansu

A whistful glimpse into a moment painted with emotive hues. Love the gentleness of the petals, the rainfall, infact all of your wonderful words.

Max
