Subject: BB's in Protection work

First all, anyone here currently working any BB's or dogs in PP work?

I have noticed and let me know if you have experianced something different that a BB without ANY training taken to the PP field and confronted by a helper works out of it's Defense drive, if you were to take an adult AB it would mainly work from it's Prey Drive, now I start when dogs are pups and trained my BB pup through prey, but what have you guys done in an adult situation. My trainer wonders that if he just trains out of defense, will it turn the dog so aggressive that is cannot be socialable in public? Anyone have any experiance on this. Or does it just depend on the seriousness and aggressive nature of the dog in general.

Thanks
