Dear Mates,

Interesting comments were posted here! I think talking about culture is a fascinating subject.
All the peoples with their culture deserve respect. No people are better than another, only distinct. For speaking a foreign language we don’t have to miss our identity, on the contrary, this is what we have to be proud of.
Besides, as it's said in the conclusion part of our text, cross-cultural understanding ought to start in our very close relationship: families, neighborhoods, and communities. We should respect the very different ways of speaking. Without understanding these differences, we may fail to establish a successful communication and thus hindering development of respect and harmony.
