 It is amazing the amount of different noises that you can get from just one drum. I have done that little "cranking up the tom" thing before, and it is infact pretty neat. i actually made a song out of it once; it was all drum-rolls. Another cool thing to do is to crank your sanre up when your done with the head. If you leave the snares on (and the snare-side head is tuned from medium to low), it sounds cool. If you take off the snares, you sound like that drummer from TOOL. Anyways, i just thought i'd let you in on my little cool thing too. I just bought a brand new Pearl Export drumset (in the alpine green color), and it sounds amazing! I used to have a Yamaha drumkit, but it just kept on breaking! I guess it couldn't hold up with my playing! I also just bought a whole bunch of new Sabian AAX cymbals. They sound amazing, too. They are definatly worth the money. Pearl drums and Sabian cymbals RULE!!!!
