Oh wow - I valued the past teams for so much more than "little cloth flags". And by the way, I like history, it shapes things for what can happen today and tomorrow. (You learn from your past failures and successes.) I don't think fans will come to games or stay away just because a banner/pennant hangs or is taken down. And I can almost guarantee that the two teams, the Sea Wovles and new team (and probably owners, office staff, consessions, prices, promotions, etc.) will be compared. The memories are a part of us - I still think they should be kept hanging. BTW- different league, so I have no problem with a retired number being used.
