is a well-respected suburb of Chicago that is very family-friendly. If you want to explore Chicago, it is a 30 minute drive (42 miles/62.5 km) from the Worlds location. Let's face it, when we at the dance event, we are immersed in the events and don't really have time to be tourists. But when you are free, you can explore Schaumberg and/or the windy city (which really is very nice).

  • This is Schaumburg, not a bad area. Loads of restaurants and a great mall and stores around. Like most things not in Europe you will need a cab or a rental car. (NT) -- Hotels are very close drive to center. Lots of parking and usually a shuttle between hotels., 10/12/25 20:30:19, Wed
