Subject: Question from parent trying to learn

Hi, this is not hate I am just trying to learn more about dance to help my own child. I was just wondering if crossing one knee in front of the other and straight legs and pointed toes are important to do well in dance. I come from a ballet background and beautiful legs and feet are required (obviously). I just noticed watching the u15 comp that the top dancer(s) sometimes don’t cross to where the knee covers the other, and not fully pointing toes all the way. Again I mean no hate as obviously these are extremely talented and strong dancers, but again I am just confused as I would think this would be the bare minimum especially at the top? Congratulations to everyone at the worlds.
