NOT WEIRD DUDE. SOME PARENTS WHO GREW UP IN LATE 60S-70S DID THE NO SPANK ROUTINE CAUSE THAT'S WHAT CHILD EXPERTS LIKE DR SPOCK TOLD THEM TO DO. LOSING YOUR CAR FOR A WEEK MUST HAVE REALLY SUCKED. I'D HAVE TAKEN EVEN GRAMPS OLD LEATHER STRAP FROM DAD BARE ASS RATHER THAN LOSE DRIVING.

OUR GRAMPS DID THE SAME WITH OUR DAD AND HIS BROTHER. DAD SAYS IT WAS OUT TO THEIR GARAGE WHERE GRAMPS HAD A STOOL AT HIS WORKBENCH AND THEY HAD TO STRIP TO BARE BOTTOM AND LEAN OVER THE STOOL. GUESS DAD'S MEMORIES KEPT HIM FROM EVER USING A STRAP ON RICK AND ME.

OUR PRINCIPAL HAD A SIMILAR OFFER OF 3 SWATS = 1 HOUR AFTER SCHOOL DETENTION. BOTH RICK AND I OPTED OUT OF HIGH SCHOOL DETENTIONS A FEW TIMES. WAS THE PADDLE SOMETHING YOU WANTED TO FEEL AT SCHOOL AND AN EASY OPTION OR CAUGHT IN A TIGHT SPOT AND HAD NO CHOICE BUT TAKE SWATS? WAS IT WORTH IT OR YOU GET A REAL STINGING WALLOPING ON YOUR BUTT? DID YOU TRY FOR EXTRA PAIRS OF DRAWERS OR WEAR HEAVY DENIM JEANS TO LESSEN THE PADDLE IMPACT? WHAT DID KYLE THINK OR SAY WHEN YOU EMERGED WITH A FRESH PADDLED REAR?

NICE THOUGHT TO DEDICATE A GAME TO HIM. OUR DAD IS BETTER NOW BUT NEEDS TO TAKE LIFE W/O ANYMORE STRESS, EXERTION OR WORRY THAN NECESSARY. TOLD HIM AT 23 AND 25, THAT WAS RICK'S AND MY JOB NOW IN THE BUSINESS. HE'S A COOL GUY AND RICK AND I LOVE MOM AND DAD BEYOND WORDS.

YA'LL WE BOTH GOT DESERVED ONES. AT 9 OR 10, I SWIPES SOME CANDY FROM A NEARBY STORE. MY DAD WALLOPED MY BARE BOTTOM UNTIL I SWEAR A LAYER OF BUTT FLESH CAME OFF. I HAD GOTTEN THE OLD HAND SPANK ON BARE BOTTOM BEFORE BUT DAD HAD HIS PADDLE BY THEN AND MY BARE BOTTOM GOT BLISTERED. DAD'S BELT WAS STING-CHARGED TOO AND BOTH OF OUR BARE ASSES CAN ATTEST.

TOLD SOME ALREADY. WE WERE AT SCHOOL. I WAS 6TH GRADE AND RICK WAS 87TH. MOM FOUND A PACK IN OUR BEDROOM CHEST WHERE OUR UNDERWEAR WAS KEPT. THEY WERE MINE. SHE BLAMED RICK BEING OLDER. GROUNDED HIM TO AWAIT DAD. HE WAS HOME BEFORE ME. WHEN I GOT HOME AND HE TOLD ME, HE WAS PISSED WITH ME BUT ARGUING WITH MOM WOULD ONLY MAKE THINGS WORSE. HE KNEW DAD WOULD WHIP ME EVEN AT 11 IF HE FOUND THEY WERE MINE CAUSE RICK HAD BEEN WARNED WHEN EARLIER ONE OF HIS BUDDIES WAS CAUGHT SMOKING. HE WAS NOT HAPPY WITH IDEA FOR SURE BUT SAVED MY BUTT KEEPING QUIET. DAD DID THE BELT BARE ASS ON RICK AND I HEARD THE LICKS AND HIM SCREAMING. HE'D HAD THE BELT ONCE BEFORE WHEN HE SKIPPED SCHOOL AND FORGED A NOTE. RICK DID NOT SMOKE AND HE MADE ME PROMISE NEVER TO HAVE OR SMOKE CIGARETTES AGAIN. THAT WAS MY BIG BRO. SEE HOW WE WERE CLOSE GROWING UP. NOW DON'T YOU THINK IT WAS COOL OF KYLE TO TAKE THOSE SPANKINGS YOUR BUTT DESERVED JOEL?
