Hey buddy how you doing? I'm rubbing a sore, red butt because Kyle said I deserved to get paddle to help remind me tonight to not think about anything else, BUT playing good football in tonites homecoming game.
He's RIGHT! I want to play my best game ever, win or lose, but I rather win so the guys, Kyle and me don't get bet/loss swats after the game tonight. That wouldn't be good to celebrate an after homecoming game event, so Steve I'm READY to play football!
A little sore, but ready to play.
Kyle and I negotiated and agreed to what would happen. He had to or I wouldn't agree to it, but I bet he still would have grabbed me and gave my butt a good blistering anyway if I didn't.
So there is hope, sometimes in negotiations, and I wished Jason and Alex might feel sometime negotations might work for them, but I think it might be a few years for them to try to win??????????????
I'm not bragging, Steve.
But serious, maybe this paddling will help me as awake up call or "take responsiblity", but it sure seems my butt has been taking some of these the last few months in sports playing since spring baseball, events through the summer and now football. GEEZE!
I guess it will help me to become a better player and person?
And Kyle tried to have "talks" with me and I listened and he listened to me.
He talked about "pounding my butt" if I needed it to understand to accept the homecoming court position, but football comes FIRST before enjoyment, so the paddling was the pounding I guess.
That's it for now. Hope I can report Saturday morning that we won a homecoming victory, because if we don't then Kyle and me will have even sorer, hurting butts then now. Have added to wearing extra boxers to help sitting down better.
I hope I do just as good, later sitting, when I have to ride the tricycle in the pep rally race. And I thought I outgrew that era of my life long, long ago.
Talk to you later!
