Well that's OK. I had been lurking a little before I posted; my first post being my thoughts on our list owner, Steve. He was raised by a single mother and, like your friend Joel, was never spanked until he was in his teens when he and his best friend got caught by his father drinking beer. Steve pestered his mom and she caved and gave his friend's dad permission to wallup his bare butt 20 times with a razor strop.

I read his account and what he did would be a model for me except that my father passed away in 2007 so it is too late for me. :D

That's interesting because most schools in my area have prohibitions against spanking because so many schools have been sued.

She would spank my bare butt if I happened to be wearing a pair of pants that she could get down easily. Another of her tactics, if I happened to be wearing shorts in warm weather, was to spank the back of my thighs.

If there ever was a time that I REALLY deserved it, that was the occasion. As I said, my mom was the spanker and my dad wasn't but she never interfered if he didn't. This is one time where she should have blistered my bare butt good in front of my brother. Maybe I wouldn't have enticed him to try smoking a few years later and he wouldn't be a smoker today. I also should tell you that my grandfather (Mom's dad) died a few years before this incident and he was a coal miner--and a heavy smoker.

The gym teacher in my elementary school whacked my butt once because I was goofing around and my first grade teacher may have given me a tap once or twice. In Junior High, there were times when I got sent to the principal for various things, mostly having a potty mouth and was told that getting paddled was an option but I was always able to talk (lie) my way out of it. My 7th Grade gym coach gave me my last b'day spanking, across his knee with an open hand. I think if I were to run into my former AP from Junior High today, I would be inclined to fess up to not being honest with him, remove my belt and hand it to him and ask if he wanted to make up for lost time. :D
