Guys,

I know you weren't asking for my opinion so I hope you will forgive me if I am overstepping my bounds and will receive my message in the spirit in which it is intended.

First of all, I think it was TOTALLY INAPPROPRIATE for the school to be giving you guys condoms. I think it DOES INDEED sends the wrong message. Also condoms do in fact fail sometimes and the result could be a pregnancy or worse, a STD. I am going to be brutally honest here and tell you that premarital sex is wrong in any and every situation. Abstinence before marriage and fidelity in marriage is the way to go IMHO.

Another note regarding prom night concerns liquor. You guys are all under age and should not be drinking. Even President Bush's daughters made that mistake and learned that one the hard way.

From what I have read in the archives, it sounds like your parents and I are pretty much on the same page. If you remember the way they raised you, you will make good decisions not just on prom night but the rest of your lives.
