Hi Bill,

Had three days in a row of baseball games, and I stay over at Kyle's house on Monday & Tuesday before I come back home for Wednesday night at my house, this helps save on gas for, Kyle and any of the guys who want to join.

Saw your post, thanks for believing that Luke and Cody showed up on their own-they did and are sorry they did, not only for the paddlings they took but, for causing Sean and Kyle and I to get it too.

Yes, I shouldn't have LIED to the neighbor lady. It was wrong, but I was just trying to get Luke and Cody on their way, etc.. If that neighbor had not seen Cody and Luke come into my house they would have been the only ones paddled that day as they would not have told about trying to stop by and skip.

That second paddling I got from my dad, my butt will agree I didn't deserve it, but I wanted to tell my dad the truth should the realy truth come out somehow and Luke and Cody tried to save my butt earlier, but my dad thought because they came to my house I helped planned it so, he thought he would try to give me a second paddling to see if I would say I lied and helped them and gave them the idea to skip. Man, my dad sure took some hide off my butt, I know he did and checking it out later I know he did and Kyle staying over that night for a sleepover inspected and YES he agreed too.
Kyle sure helped as a "big brother" that night to help me rub some lotion on two sore butt cheeks, to make things easier we've learned as brother/buddies.

As for sliding the next day, I had too or get thrown out, and I myself and a few of other players have learned the hard way learning baseball that a play must slide or face getting out and a really ass chewing from head coach and asst. coaches. I've had it happen a few times and sure makes a guy feel like a grade school little leaguer, but it has to be done to make a high school baseball player do what he has to do to help the cause for the team to try o win.
I've had "strawberries" before lots of times in my baseball career, but recovering from a sore butt paddling sure hurts and if the team knows they know a player give his all.

I got into a fix last year about this time and took a paddling from two team capts. and Kyle before going on a bus ride to a game and had a sore butt for that game and hadto get down to slide or face an ass chewing from Coach, who witnessed those three paddlings from the guys and the rest of the team-it was for a snapping towels on wet bare butts of the two capt. & Kyle and they did it because of me, and at first I let them take the blame beforing taking a couple of weeks before I fessed up!

For lying to Coach I really got a wet butt paddling from him in front of the team then at season end.

So I wasn't no angel and well onto being a great kid at that time, but and I wouldn't have been proud of me either. My coach never told my dad back in June 2009, and that was months before I talked my dad into giving me first paddling. If I was to be punished I would probably have been GROUNDED and lost priviledge of driving my car, which I lost use of my car for a whole week and that drove me NUTS!

Again Bill, I'll sacrifice myself for teams I play on, football, basketball & baseball, but it sure came at a bad time for the two paddlings last week and game next day.

Cody and Luke did great for playing that day, after getting three paddlings, but they didn't have to slide their sore butts like I did!

Sean and Kyle here and comment for ya.
