Hey Mr. Challenger Man...how you doing?
Good to see you answer some questions for me...but I want to say what a GREAT JOB you did helping Rick get ready and help him pass the real estate exam.
I see from a separate post of Rick that you went out to celebrate yourself with date and dinner, concert, huh? I hope you had a fun, great time. I had a fun time with Kyle, and other guys with our dates at a Halloween party. Had a girl bug me to "bite her" as I dressed up as Dracula and she came to the school/community party drunk.
Back to the challenge...
That's really cool again you setting the record straight with your dad about the cig. Then he never "pressed" to see if there was anything else he should know from other incidents, huh? There shouldn't have been!
Dude, I won't go "off some deep end" to figure a way to get my dad to paddle me. Can't have him thinking, "what's wrong with Joel of a sudden?...Has he flipped out?"
This is NOT going to be too embarrassing for me to try in this challenge. If you haven't figured me out yet, and Kyle will tell you, all of my life I've accepted challenges, gambeled (not for money) at things to win, mostly sports (I'm afraid to say), and I've pretty much come out on top. I've had a few buddies say, "why does things always go right for you, Joel?" Sometimes they don't, but its neat to have guys think I don't lose alot!
David buddy, you must rally want this to come true for me, and I'm NOT doubting you! There is NO pressure on me and I realize you are too good of friend to call me "wus", "wimp" or any other choice words you'd care to call me to pull this off.
If worse comes to worse, I guess I could tell my dad this could be my "birthday gift" (if he doesn't think I'm nuts) or if it takes to end of the school year as a "graduation gift"...but the "gift" thing would look crazy I guess if people asked my dad..."oh, what did you give Joel for his memorable l8th birthday?" or "what great graduation gift did you give Joel that he'll remember for the rest of his life?" If my dad told them, "Oh, I gave Joel a paddling!"...then they would think my dad was NUTS!
So you think Rick will bust a "gut" laughing at the opportunity to paddle your butt, huh? Would there be a way to turn the table and have it included in the challenge that YOU GET TO PADDLE HIS BUTT too...IF...I pull this off?
What's with this "neither of us is getting younger dude"...David your only 23...NOT some OLD MAN...your just getting started in your YOUNG PRIME OF LIFE TWENTY YEARS! I would label them as "adventure years" if I had to give them a name. What would you call them...so I know what I have to look forward to?
So 50/50 chance? Those are pretty good odds...we'll see if two guys might be rubbing their butts sometime soon, okay?
