Drake stopped to wait for her as she bounded up the steps behind him, the soft click of her heels only barely heard.Just as she was about to finish her sentence the thunger cut her off along with a flash of lightning filling the sky with its bright light. He felt the torrent of rain soak them both. So much for getting her inside before that shirt got wet. He released her hand quickly. Fighting the urge to glance at her, he shrugged of his black trench coat and placed it around her shoulders. "Here, put this on Miss Addison. His black long sleeved shirt was already getting soaked by the torrent of rain but he would rather have her covered up. He lifted her wet hair from her shoulders to allow her to put the jacket all the way on. After she had put it on he took her hand back into his hers. "Alrighty then my dear sheila. Let's be off." He ran with her towards the building she had pointed out, keeping his pace even with hers, not going any faster. His brown hair was soaking wet and was beginning to curl from the rain. He looked over to her offering her a smile as they ran.
