Saw on Megan's Twitter, she thanked her NH sisters for a great weekend and hashtagged DOE. What did they do?

I think they earned the Bronze Duke of Edinburgh Medal. I saw it on her FB and the Miss NH FB inviting the Miss NH girls a few weeks ago. There are pictures posted from their white mountain hike and outdoor adventure. Looks like NH is doing great things. (NT)No name09:41:51 10/29/12 Mon

What exactly if the Duke if Edinburgh program/medal? (NT)No name19:12:41 10/31/12 Wed
Megan's FB page is under Megan Lyman. All pics are there. Google Duke of Edinbrugh Award and there is a lengthy criteria. It's pretty cool. (NT)No name03:47:05 11/01/12 Thu
I always loved Megan and rooted for her to win the state crown, but I'm sadly disappointed in her reign. I mean, photos on her personal FB page when she's doing something to win an award as Miss NH? There haven't been a lot of appearance photos posted either. Some, but I would bet she's working way harder than we're led to believe by the photos, so I can only assume those must be on her personal page as well. I understand she may be trying to avoid the overexposure past Miss NHs have experienced, but at the same time, she's a state representative and it's a shame we can't publicly keep up with her whole year. Miss America and fear of overexposure should not be all it's about (NT)Very disappointed. Hope next year's titleholder is more open04:50:30 11/01/12 Thu
Found the link to a blog about the girls outdoor adventure! http://doenh.blogspot.com/search?updated-min=2012-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&updated-max=2013-01-01T00:00:00-08:00&max-results=13 (NT)No name15:25:42 11/06/12 Tue
People complain when all the hardwork is done and they didn't do it. It is so much easier to cave than honor girls who have worked hard and are recognized. Wonder how many states that complained did the work and are being awarded a medal. (NT)No name17:55:45 11/07/12 Wed
Everyone can complete the Duke of Edinburgh Award. It's a lot of work and falls in line with volunteering, athletics, an adenturous journey and a community project. Every state can apply. It makes sense, the principals fall in line with the Miss America. (NT)No name01:17:19 11/08/12 Thu
