I was shocked as well, although the winner is talented, she does not have the "look" for Miss America, the first runner up is a seasoned competitor and has more of the Miss America look. IMO, I wish the winner well however if you notice when she walked back on stage to the girls, pretty much no one ran up to her immediately. There's nothing to read into. If you watched the latest WMUR footage the girls DID in fact run up to her. Look at her twitter/ facebook. Not to mention this is her FIRST year competing in NH so maybe they just don't know her as well because they've all been competing with each other for years. So laughable that people are saying she won't make top 15 at Miss America when SHES THE ONLY ONE CROWNED SO FAR. No basis. Embarrassing. I'd also like to bring up the comment on her pictures on the Miss NH Facebook page..someone with the last name "Glickman" said she wasn't the prettiest or something like that. Rude. Not only does that woman look like a bitter old lady but it makes Devenn and her family (mom's a local director people!!!) look bad. I wish this young lady luck this year.
