The point is to go to win. You are on 100% of the time and part of being Miss America is style. Every year our girls look amazing at appearances and then there is always posts about her when she gets to Miss A saying what is she wearing? What happened to her style? Also...by saying the point is to go to win..is a very amateur statement. Winning is fantastic...and everyone does the very best they can do and its a focus, but it is NOT the overall "point" of this opportunity. It is VERY niave to have that kind of view of the program, and my opinion is that at this juncture in the experience if you are not saying something positive and helpful, it is just blabber..and luckily those of us in the know...KNOW to scroll on by. Blah, blah, blah. I'm not the poster you're talking to, but I'm so sick of the attitude that the girl should just go to have fun. Bull! Megan IS a Miss America. She has every single thing it takes and she is much more qualified than the majority of the girls there. What I'm feeling and I bet a lot of people are feeling is frustration that when our girls are here, they're fabulous! They always look the part. Then they go to Miss America and it's as if they were sponsored by the Ugly Clothes Store and their style goes completely out the window.
