Hey all,
I'm selling two evening gowns...one light (baby) pink two piece...heavily bodead bodice...(actual rhinestone pink and dark pink and clear beading)with a light pink satin bottom with train. Its an early Jovani. The other is an emerald green silk gown with top heavily beaded AB multicolor and green beaded bodice. The stonework is amazing on both these gowns. The green gown bottom is silk irridescent with a short train. The green gown is an early Claire's Collection. Super elegant and I have won many competitions with them as part of my wardrobe. Newly crowned Miss Maine USA 2011 Resigns
It is with much sadness that we announce the resignation of Emily Johnson, Miss Maine USA 2011. After careful thought and consideration, Emily made the decision to relinquish her title based on a personal family matter. Emily has done a great job representing Maine thus far, and we wish her much luck in the future. Emily will be replaced by the 1st runner-up and former Miss Maine Teen USA, 26-year-old Ashley Lynn Marble. Ashley will quickly assume the role of Miss Maine USA 2011 and will make her first appearance this coming Monday at the Maine Special Olympics Winter Games. Ashley will represent Maine at the 60th annual MISS USAŽ Competition which is to air on NBC. The date and location for the pageant has not yet been announced.

Applications are now being accepted for the title of Maine Wild Blueberry Queen. The coronation will be held in August 2011. All contestants for the coronation will be available to meet the public on Sunday, opening day of Union Fair week, August 20 - 27. The 2010 Wild Blueberry Queen will receive a $1,500.00 cash award, trophy, and roses. The Crown Princess will receive a $500.00 cash award, trophy, and roses. The Mrs. Maine America Organization is holding a pageant prep workshop on Saturday, October 16th in Manchester, ME.

This workshop is for women who have paid atleast their deposits and have become official 2011 contestants.

If you would like to become a part of the Mrs. Maine America Family and compete for the title of Mrs. Maine America 2011, contact State Director Debra Pronovost for more information.

If there are any surrounding Queens that would like to be visiting Royalty..the pageant is Next Saturday October 2, at 7:00...at the Van Buren District Secondary School's Auditorium...Queens will be getting in for free. Admission; $6.00 for adults, $5.00 for students and FREE for children under the age of 4 years old. Come and watch the 24 contestants competing for the St. John Valley title!!! All of the proceeds will be donated to The March of Dimes. Hope to see you there!!!

Gene Gagne is the new executive director of Miss Maine America. This is so unfortunate. He is a former bus driver who is in his "golden years" and surely lacks pizazz.
