Just a little info -- Wendy, 18:59:01 07/30/01 Mon (NoHost/63.231.245.212)

I thought you would get a kick out of the fact that I actually got my name from the story Peter Pan. Some friends of mine gave me this site address because they thought it would be fun.

Dear Peter,

As I read over your website, I thought, "Now here's a cool guy. I hope he finds his Tinkerbell." I mean, that would be a concrete example of there actually being Justice in the world. Do you have any plans to keep us updated on your success? Nothing salacious of course -- "A prospective Tink and I were getting all funky last night in a chat room with this girl who called herself Tiger Lilly" -- but just a general update to give the rest of us hope. You know. A message to the world that if you are yourself and you write something articulate on the Internet, and win a Webby award, that maybe you too can find your Tinkerbell.

Think about it.

Your Friend,
Paul Nadjamabadi

hey, cool site.
although I'm agnostic, think it's great that you can have such spirit in such things. although some might think it rather eccentric, it does seem somewhat inspiring to see someone deviate from the norm so openly and honestly.
till then, Herringway says nice job.

I wept when I saw your website...from joy! I am a 39 yr old female who has been tormented all my life by "normal people".I too march to the beat of a different drummer. I have always dressed unusual preferring ruffles;lace; and sheer materials. So,like you,I have had to make my own clothes to fit my personality. Most of the torment that I have endured had to do with my size rather than my choice of clothes. I am a big girl, 405 lbs. This has not stopped me from living the way that I choose, although there were plenty times I was ready to throw in the towel! You have inspired me to keep my head up and continue to be ME! would you consider a "super sized" tinkerbell for your companion?? I too enjoy tights and tutus and I don't care what anyone says! Keep up the good work, I love you!

I am 46 and still a child spirit. My older sister sent me your wonderful site as it is true to my own heart. In college I spent many a nice day siting on my dorm room balconey with the sound track of Peter Pan blasting into the quad. I blew soap boubles and my moto was " Boubles are a reality I can believe in." One year under the Christmas tree was a gift- a beautiful cigerette lighter engraved "love from tinkerbell". My bright but little light. One year I had pencils engraved; with love from Peter Pan. I have never stopped doing cartweels! I believe.

That is so important in this lifetime. To try to make a difference in this yucky world. I am so thankful that there are so many people understand you and your mission. I especially like the comment regarding the "programmed" thought the first time the person saw your site. But it was quickly disregarded and he/she saw the true you.
So...for what its worth, thanks for cheering people up and making them understand that a green hat and leotards dont mean anything. Its all in your heart.

I'm so very happy I found your web site. My friend Tom sent it to me (bless his soul), and I'm so glad I've finally found someone after my own heart. The other day I was speaking with Ruprect my manservant and I was just saying that there really are not enough websites out there with full-grown men dressed properly as faeiries. Sure, there are the occasional site with leather-bound muscle men calling themselves faeries - but I assure you, as can my surgeon, that they are not the gentle sort one might imagine.

I will send you links soon to my site, upon it's completion. It will feature photos of Ruprect and I reenacting the 19th century Zulu incursion in full costume (minus a few key parts of course).

Cheers to you sir - a courageous and wonderful faerie you are.

Anyway, thought you'd like to know that 13 years ago, when my father was in the hospital in the final stages of cancer, he had a wonderful, sweet nurse who was a saint to my family. Hello, got here with a click on a cute little avie. I have to say thie is about the most enlightning and well thought out theme site I've seen. I'm bookmarking it so I can come back and see more.

You've done some great work in the design, layout and especially with the openess of your site. We are all kids at heart, just some have lost that spirit to believe. Myself I try to write out fantasy stories and poetry. It gets so very frustrating to have so much to say and not be able to get it out properly.

Thank you for sharing your site, never let it be said that you're too old to do anything. God bless you and may all your fantasies live on forever ^_^

Very few sites on the virtual cyber information superhighway nowadays are directed towards subjects that you deal with. Subjects such as religion, and finding our "inner child". And I'm of course not referring to sites about mental disorders such as the association of the inner child with schizophrenia, because that would be off topic. No, your message of finding the inner child is one of inspiration, and yes, one of magic. I'm sure you inspire many people- young and old, male and female- to be themselves, or to become an incarnation of someone that holds the values that they value. Such as Peter Pan. I'm sure if we look deep within society's media, we can all find inspirational figures to model our beliefs after, whether it be a fictional story about a flying guy, or a non-fictional story about something that involves flying. Like Wings. At any rate, your site truly is unique- as you are! Congratulations on winning the WEBBY, and I'm sure my site (www.xenoetone.com) will one day win one as well, as long as I and all our staff reach for the stars!

Dear Randy, I just stumbled upon your web site today and what a breath of fresh air! I am a transcriptionist for the Las Vegas PD and every single day all I see is the horrible hateful things people do to each other. It can make a person very hardened. I absolutely love your "Peter Pan" theme and yes, there is a big difference between child-like and childish and yes, God wants us to be child-like. I commend you for the work you are doing in this world where there is too much hate. God bless you! I love you, brother. Sincerely, Irene

Your site(s) is so great!(and of course I became aware of it through the well broadcast Webby awards...) It def. made me smile and giggle w/ you. Mission accomplished on your part *_*! , in fact I checked into it because a local radio DJ was on the other day and stating "you have just got to go see this ... this guy dresses as Peter Pan!..." so... I looked you up.
But really I was stunned at how brilliant your music is... on MP3.com. You should get a record deal... from someone! ... maybe one of the alternative/jazz labels ? ...You're certainly blessed with talent and knowledge and I applaud you for sharing it w/ the world. My big question prob lies in.... have you ever been hassled in public or at work for the Peter Pan look ? Just wondering... but anyways, great site, and heart! Best of luck on locating Tinkerbell! Hi! Congratulations on your Webbie Award. I found this site to be so inspirational--and, you have made the most interesting, outstanding, creative costumes! I thought of the greatest idea after being inspired by your webpage:

You see, I have a good friend in a low-security prison right now and whenever I go to visit, I always find the atmosphere really cold and impersonal. So why not "theme dress" in cool outfits whenever I go and visit?! It's sure to brighten his day. Perhaps I'll do a Disney character in the near future, but I'll probably go "80's Punk" or something first. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! God Bless you Peter Pan.

Okay, I've got to say that this site kicks @$$. I'm 17 years old but feel more like 12, and I've been looking for people who agree with my views on childhood for years. I've been in to the story of Peter Pan since I was three years old, and the idea of Neverland fascinated me so much that I'm now in the process of publishing a book called, appropriately, 'Naevaerland' (the Greek 'ae' sounds just like 'e'.) It's got nothing to do with Peter, but his theme of eternal childhood inspired my own literary work.

Anyhoozle, I just wanted to say that you rule and whatever happens, keep being yourself--the world needs a few children here and there. :)

I too share your hobby of fashioning my own costumes and I was seeking advice on an idea I have for my Halloween costume this year. I would like to go as Puck (from midsummer night's dream--shakespeare) and I was wondering if you had any ideas for such a costume or if you had a pattern I could use to sew it. Last year I was Ariel (from the Tempest--shakespeare) and I don't want to wear that costume over again but perhaps I could modify it? I know you probably receive many letters everyday but I would be delighted and ever so grateful if you responded to my message.

Whilst I will say that the fashion side of things will take me a while to digest, I admire your courage to do what makes you happy. Furthermore, your path to a higher level of spirituality was the really interesting part. I would love to have your outlook on life. Despite the negativity that is obviously thrown at you, I truly believe that you've found happiness and purpose in your life. Unfortunately, not many of us can say that.

I am very impressed that you are willing to be Peter Pan day in day out. I think that is neat to devote yourself to something like that all the time! Right after my mom saw this site and looked at it for a while, she suggested she dress up like Hello Kitty all the time. I told her she could if she wanted to... but of course I'm only eleven and wouldn't let her take me to school with a tail, ears and a little yellow nose on, not to mention a giant red bow glued to her hair. I think it's courageous to put yourself in a position that is both impressive to some and creepy to others! >-) I have a theory that if enough people take a stand against sexism, prejudice and racism, the big boat of followers will slowly change course. You are one in a million, Peter Pan!!!

You truly cannot be described in one word which is why i have chosen to type a short message for all to see. Your site is very interesting and I'm sure great stars like Michael Jackson woudl support your site if you just asked. I think you are doing great and should continue to advocate the advancement of Disney characters. I love those Disney movies and they are popular collectibles. Did you ever watch Shirley temple movies... now thats an actress... why dont people dress up like her more often... ill tell u why... because she is misunderstood. What I wanna know is... if jesus can accept peter pan then why cant he accept homosexuals... think of that one next time you lay praise to mr. peter pan. O yea... and shirley temple was always played by a girl... just ta let ya know... aiight???

I think you are a wonderful, sweet man, if only more people had your out look on life, then this sad world would be ten times happyier! :D
Well peter i hope i always stay a little kid at heart, and one day i wont have to get up to a never ending life-less job, bound hand and foot into a cubical, and finally one day I will end up in Never-never land as an innocent child that i was.

Blue Boy -- Artemis, 14:31:17 07/10/01 Tue (NoHost/216.249.140.122)

I think it's amazing that you can be so open with the world about who you feel you are - dare to be different! The costumes are really awesome. I stayed in Home Ec. for all of a week; I was nowhere near that creative or talented and I had to drop it, before I stabbed my fingers with the sewing machine. So yay for you.

I do have a question about your Blue Boy costume. It appears to be more aqua than blue. Were you going for that particular color? If not I think some RIT dye should fix it right up.

The Purple Pixy outfit definitely needs a hat. The tassel is lots of fun though - very perky.

My friends agree that your site is nothing less than outstanding & deserving of praise. As far as fashion, they all like the Tree Elf, but I believe my favorite was Little Lord Fauntelroy.

You are a talented and blessed individual. Good luck finding your Tinkerbell! :-)

P.S. I have a friend who should, at least once in his life, dress like a Keebler Elf just to make me happy. I mean he would just really make a good one. Any tips on a possible costume for this guy?

Gentle Readers - -

I told Peter in a separate e-mail that I hope he proceeds with attaching a Pixyland Friends Gallery to this fabulous site! There are messages in this book from Tiger Lily, Nana, and Captain Hook, etc., and I just KNOW that these people have special outfits they wear sometimes. (I myself have a sparkly, glamorous mermaid costume.) Wouldn't it be fun to see these charmed and charming friends in all their glory? So send Peter your pictures, and clap your hands if you believe in the Friends of Pixyland Gallery!

Dear Peter Pan,
Thank you for your inspiring look into the heart of innocence and eternal childhood! I think you are a beautiful person and I've decided to live my life more like you. I even got my hair cut like yours! I have been hand sewing my outfits until I can buy a sewing machine. When that magic day comes... well, let me just say; look out world, the faeries are taking over! By the way, I hope you find your tinkerbell. I found mine; a precious little tabby that I named Tinkerbell! When she is bigger I will make her outfits as well!

Munchkin #4 -- Matt McPeek, 22:38:21 07/05/01 Thu (clin2fast-e0.utelco.tds.net/204.246.11.12)

I cannot tell you how inspired I have been by your web site. I, too, have lived my life vicariously through a fictional character. I feel that I closely connect with Munchkin #4 from the Wizard of Oz. Of course, he didn't play a huge part, but I can touch so many children while in the clothes of Mr. Munchkin.

Now, I cannot profess to have coverage from Fox News, but I did once appear at a grand opening of a KFC. Of course, I was uninvited and they kicked my out when I launched into a rousing rendition of "Lollipop Guild." So many do not understand our art.

I just wanted to let you know how much you have inspired me. As soon as I have my own computer (this one belongs to my aunt)I plan on putting up my own web page called, "Mr. Munchkin Rises Above Colonel Sanders Oppression". Maybe you could join me for another grand opening. We have a new Longhorn Steakhouse that's opening that could use a little "pixie dust".

So long for now, it's like my Uncle John always used to say, "You Can Take The Boy out of Never-Never Land, but you cannot take the pixie out of the boy."

Love and hugs,

Matt

I read through the "ministries" site and concluded you have the most unbelievable ability to communicate the true meaning of "GOD" and "Religion" I've ever read. Very eloquent, articulate, and more importantly, 100% accurate.

So long as you continue to teach "the true meaning of GOD", and the "wrongs" with current religion, be whoever you want to be. Your a tremendous soul, and a very special person.

God Bless, and may you find your "tinkerbell"..........

About your page -- Stephen Morris, 02:54:54 07/01/01 Sun (spider-ntc-tb042.proxy.aol.com/198.81.16.167)

Hey Randy,
How are ya? I`m Stephen,17, from Minneapolis, MN.I'm actually talking to you from Monterey CA, I'm out here for the summer for a research project. Anyways, I saw your article in stuff magazine and I went to your site. I think its really cool that you stick to who you are...and you feel like you really don't need to completely justify yourself or classify yourself..You just are. Thats one think that I like about Northern California, everyone has their own personality and everyone else is cool with it. I wish our society in general could be as accpeting as that. But until that happens, there will always be people like you and I. You spread the value of being young and true to yourself. I dress in tropical or "west-coast" attire and try to let my peers respect and maybe learn from me for the laid back and easy going guy that I expose in my appearance. Although I was not always respected and by many thought to be gay...I didn't mind it and I acted how I always have. Now, I have forged my own identity in the school and I am known and a little bit more respected for it. Until our scoiety fully recognizes individuality and those joys not necessarily embraced by the populous, there will be those like You and I who dare to push the rest of them to be themselves. Lets keep Doing it! Email me anytime with your thoughts.

Take it Easy,

Stephen
