Hello, Peter, and all of my fellow fairy tale lovers.

I must tell you, in all of my days (and there have been many), I have not yet met a more more inspiring, more intelligent, creative, or faithful person as you, my friend. You are truly and inpiration. It has come to my understanding that you were recently contacted by my friend, indian-named Bow of the RAINbow, which is why I would like to take this time to share a little story of my own life with you. And may you find serenity in my words.

As you know, our lives can change with every breath we take. And we've got to hold on like hell to what we've got. Let go of the past. I want to tell you that we have all got meanness in us, but we've got goodness too. And the only thing worth living for is the good. I see that you, like myself and sadly not the majority of the others, have found this to be the truth. I have done plenty of searching in my years. Yet, I have found that I am still truly yet to live. Do you see what I am saying? Regrets are idle, and so history is one large regret. Everything we have done might have turned out differently. We must not dwell on the past, nor dream of the future. We must concentrate on the present, and live one's life to the fullest. This is my philosophy of life. Because life consists not of holding good cards, but in playing the cards you hold well. It is not in the stars to hold our destiny, but in ourselves. Do you understand now, my friend?

Sometimes, someone says something, and no matter how small it may be, it just fits into that empty space in your heart. I hope, fellow fairy tale lovers, that this is what I have done for you. You, yourself, as much as anybody in the entire universe, deserve your love and affection.

I have to admit that at first glace, I was a bit confused as to how I felt about seeing a grown man dancing about like a fairy, but then I thought to myself "why not?" Because the important thing that so many of us forget is that it's not what we see on the outside, but what's going on on the INSIDE that really counts, and as far as I can tell, you are genuine in everything you say and in every way that you portray yourself. And that is a beautiful thing that is hard to come by. I've always been secretly taken by the thought of fairies and elves (and have been told on many occaisions that I have elvish features *giggles*), and reading your accounts of your life and how you live it inspired me to let myself indulge in those fantasies of what I'd like to be. A long long time ago I used to host for talk city and my job was to search websites and make sure they complied with talk city standards. In doing that I bumped into this site - a longgggg time ago. I believe I left a message dont quite remember what I said but I am sure I used the word "weird" a few times lol. Anyway sitting at home I picked up an issue of Time magazine which had an issue of ON monthly in the package with it. www.onmagazine.com is the website of their magazine. The December 2001 issue - I saw near the end of the magazine an article about your webpage. I was so amazed that this site was still here and had to visit it again. I thought I was the only one who liked to wear a Peter Pan outfit and dance around in my living room. It is so refreshing to see that there is someone else as twisted as I am.

There are people dying in Afghanistan, and we are dancing around like Tinkerbell. Isn't it wonderful to be an American?

The other day, my green tights shrunk in the washing machine and I cried for 2 hours. Thank heavens I saw your sight. It cheered me up so much. Soon thereafter, I clicked my ruby slippers together and said "There's no place like my green tights...there's no place like my green tights!" Unfortuntately, nothing happened, and I was still a grown man sitting in my living room wearing ruby slippers. Oh well, I guess I can dream, can't I?

I remember as a child I used to watch Peter Pan like, every day. But not the Disney one, the play with Julie Andrews. This site makes me want to see it again, actually. I'll admit, when I first came here, I was scared. But I learned that you are just one very unique individual. DEFINITELY one of a kind. Discovering this site of Yours was a bit of a fluke, surfing for graphics for my own page, Darklight Whispers, I happened upon these unusual pages. I suppose that I have gotten used to such words as eccentric & unusal, but then again, why would I (or anyone) want to blend into the scenary of conformity? I applaud Your individualism & a damned sassy flair for life & style...If You can't express Your passions & dreams now then when can You do it??

I may not be Tinkerbelle herself, but I have definately been called magickal & of fae nature. My Darklight Whispers are a tribute to Dryads, equal forces of light & dark, poetry, folklore, a few other elfin ways & of course the a few Peter & Tink references.

There are so many things we 'think' we can no longer do after becoming "adults", but many people are beginning to realize that if you don't keep the playfulness and energy of youth in your heart, you're likely to die young.

Personally I recommend doing all the things you used to do as a teenager or young adult all over again, as often as possible. "Making out" in the backseat of the car, skinny-dipping, playing spin-the-bottle (even if it is just you and one other person), and even things like strip poker! Just don't 'play doctor' because you could get sued for malpractice!

How do you stay so remarkably young-looking? You are 47 right? Jeesh!

Are you planning on keeping this up at 57, 67, 77, and 87?
I hope so, just be careful not to break your hip flying around your bedroom.

At that age it might be hard to stay so youthful. Are you planning on having any plastic surgury?

I hope not, I believe age is an attitude.

I intend to spend a great deal of time at your site. In many ways it's inspirational. You appear to be a good person with really good intentions toward others. In this day and age that is an exceptional quality since often only animals, like dogs and cats, are allowed to express unqualified love for others without reservation. From this point of view, you are very brave and bold, and to a degree that I mean in a practical way, Christ-Like. I'm not a deeply religious person, but I have noted that Christ was very direct and open when expressing his feelings towards others and his beliefs concerning how people should treat eachother, the creatures around us, and our environment. Hence, in many ways, your site is philosophical in nature, and a joy to many because it avoids the trappings of trying to make others be anything more than themselves. Congratulations, Bardie
