She dreamt her entire life of flying --as a little girl-it was her only dream but she never learned to fly , never could fly in an airplane and she was quite disappointed when almost half her life passed and she had not realized her dream. THEN you know the story, she was chosen for the part of PETER PAN, in the original play , and sure enough ..

SHE WAS FLYING and her dream came true, she was exstatic so
KEEP YOUR DREAMS and work towards them and one day they will indeed come true.

I found this website 2 days ago and was to say in the least quite giggly. A friend of mine directed me to your site. At first, it was mostly for laughs at some of your outrageous outfits, but I started reading your articles. I read through your entire site and was truly amazed.

It would be easier to sit back, quickly skim a few pictures, and dismiss you as crazy, but after deeper inspection, I found your thoughts and writing inspirational.

I'm sure you already know, but you should be commended for what you are doing. Breaking stereotypes, avoiding labels, and most importantly, staying true to yourself. As I'm sure you're well aware, your website has become somewhat notorious and receives a lot of traffic from people I would imagine probably hold it up for ridicule.
However, these people do not understand that everybody creates their own reality, including themselves.
Because a large part of the psyche of society is fear-based, most people are too afraid to reveal parts of their reality that strays too far from what is mainstream and popularly 'acceptable'. I am glad that there are individuals such as yourself who are not ashamed to wear on their sleeves ideals, attitudes, and creativity that most people probably do not understand.

I identify with you somewhat because in my own reality, I also incorporate unorthodox things into my persona and lifestyle. From my self-made jedi robes, to my homemade Matrix coat to my priestly clerical garb, to my retro horn-rimmed glasses and antique 1974 Cadillac hearse.
Because I might get up one day and for no reason at all wear a 1950s suit and tie with matching fedora, or a formal tuxedo with tails, I'm considered eccentric.

However, this is not fair. Why should we as people be so repressed that we cannot do such harmless and simple things that we want to do without getting stares of disaproval? Why must such innocuous activities cause offense and even outrage to some people?

I hope one day in the future, we will all collectively reach a point where we can all REALLY respect each other for what's on the inside. One day I hope that when we teach our children that being unique and special is a wonderful thing, it will not be all talk. That when we tell our children only what's on the inside counts, we will not later chastize them for failing to conform with what we expect should be on the outside.

Having come across many from your continent I thought they fell into 2 main groups:-
1) Power-Hungry, Egotistical, Might is Right, Insensitive Maniacs who think that if it weren't for the good ol US of A we would either be in the hills fighting the Commies, or living in mud huts, but thanks to them we are "free" to make the choice has to how to rot our teeth, using Coke OR Pepsi, & choose how to become obese by either eating MacDonalds or KFC while shopping at GAP so we can look like everyone else, or;
2) The somehow, against all the odds, a fantastic bunch of people who can see that there is more to this world than just the continent of America.

You have opened my eyes to the fact that there is indeed another group of people populating the North American continent. You might be a bunch of weirdoes, but at least you have the strength of mind & character to be non-conformist. Praise be that you are at liberty to do so in possibly one of the most regulated, spirit-crushing, brain-numbing, spied upon places on Earth!

i like to get drunk and stoned a lot, thats about it. one time i was really high, i got some good bud while i was in holland and i saw some crazy shit that had to do with faeries. Like, i was chillin and the bubble hash and morning glory were startin to kick in, and we had music playing and u see the music come out of the stereo, like it actually takes a physical form. And outside way out in waterloo, you could see it on the roof from brussels, the movie theater did a light show and the music came out of the stereo, and started mingling with the lazer light show. then it sort of like combined and made some freaky pixie dust that like was falling all over the city, and u could see the faeries like droppin it all over the city. so i was like, nice, lets do some shrooms. ate a portion, and i was like, the dust. dude. the music. the shrooms. i can fly. so i started flying around and said hi to a faerie, it was really hot, so i kissed her some and i got her phone number, and then i called her. she said she likes to fly around in pixie dust, but it only comes once a year. i said i got half a kilo of pixie dust behind the boiler in my basement, and some of my guys were gonna bring up another half kilo in a week. so i said maybe if u like, u can bring some of your faerie friends and meet mine and we can have some of that faerie dust you like so much. she said we'll see, but she can't have too much faerie dust cos then she wants it all the time. i said ya, likewise, cos it's real expensive like. i woke up on the roof the next afteroon, and called her back but she never picked up. so i just went up to my friends again and had some hash but we didn't see the faeries again. but it was ok cos i like regular girls just the same. cool site, you should come visit faeries with us sometime. and, DON'T DO DRUGS! PEACE!

I've been here a ton of times, and today for the first time in a long while. I'm very impressed that you took on Jimmy Kimmel; I wish I had seen the episode, but I'm not exactly his fan so I don't keep up with him...he could use a blast or two of pixy dust, indeed.

I love your Glitter Fairy outfit, and have one very similar in silver, but the tights are rather uncomfortable and so just wear it on a Wednesday these days! Your hair is fantastic. I'd love to be able to wear mine in a similar fashion, but I have a receding hairline, unfortunately! :( I will visit your site often.
