I agree and on Girdles and More there was a chat room for us to get to know each other. I sure wish that somebody would bring these websites back again.

As far as the Girdle Fetish - interesting enough there is a difference between being a Cross Dresser and having a Girdle Fetish. For myself I am very much a hetrosexual, but I sure love women in vintage girdle that has an amazing effect on me.

Back during the Golden Age of Girdles 40s, 50s, 60s and even today society has for some odd reason labled girdles for women only so it is looked down upon by overall society if men wear girdles. Interesting enough historically men did wear corsets back around I believe the 16th - 17th century.

As far as women and discussing underwear back then - that subject was never ever mentioned considered off limits. I believe it had something to do the victorian era and some forms of what is considered morality. Women just did not talk with men about underwear.

My Grandmother was from Vienna Austria and she was from the Victorian era, she wore a corset everyday, where my mom and aunt would either be corseted or girdled everday. They would not discuss their foundation underwear with my dad or myself I just overheard them talk about being Girdle and Corset Dependent, and that they really loved being corseted or girdled everyday, and they would never ever leave the house without a girdle or a corset.

Going to a professional corsetiere was something else and I learned a lot from her, she was totally amazing. There is interesting enough both a pschological and physiological component to get the point like my mom grandmother and aunt were you become totally Girdle Dependent and needing to be daily always in a girdle.

What I also learned which is again not talked about is that women who wear a girdle everday feel somewhat sexy.
I have talked to women via the internet and confirmed this also. Women also like you and I can also develop a Girdle Fetish.

Spencer Trained Corsetieres back then were very well trained on the both the psychological as were as the phyiological parts of Girdle and Corset Training.

I asked my corsetiere if as a man could I become Girdle Dependent like my mom, grandmother and aunt. She told me it didn't matter if you are male or female once you go through Girdle or Corset Training you will become totally dependent and need to wear a girdle everyday and you will love being girdled like women did in the Golden Age of Girdles. What actually happens is once you experience the overall real benefits that a vintage girdle does give you you will be always in a girdle, the benefits are that great - which is true. You do get to point again male or female where you absolutly will need to be girdled.

For myself and because of the internet I was able to do some research into both the psychological and physiolocial parts and taking my own personal experience with a professional corsetiere I was able to learn a lot of what corsetiere were trained on, and I am doing what I can to pass this knowledge on.

I personally believe that well trained professional corsetieres were very aware of how beneficial being in a vintage firm boned girdled everyday really is. I believe vintage girdles will finally make a serious comeback into fashion once people learn and experience the benefits a girdle does give you. But it does take time to experience those benefits like a few weeks to even months.

Good discussion - thank you.
