Entries online must be completed by October 31st - paper entries will be accepted through November 3rd (allowing for postal delays). OK ... Having seen that the North American Open Platfrom Feis Listing is growing as organizations input their open platform feis offerings .. now to create a EUROPEAN Open Platform Feis space. :)

ANYBODY can add information to the Feis listings. The goal is that this listing will stay unified without the control of any one person. Meaning: there will be no one person responsible to collect the information from the various organizations or to ensure that what is posted is accurate. But rather, if you are involved with a particular organization then you take responsibility to keep your feiseanna information current and accurate.

So this is how it works:
Find the month that your feis fall under for 2012, hit reply to that month.
In the "Message subject" box > first put the date then follow that with the NAME of the feis, then in brackets the ORGANIZATION hosting (not the school, the organization), and the CITY, COUNTRY (use short forms if needed because of space restrictions).
In the "Name (required)" box type in 2012 (which stand for the year), or your organization's feis coordinator's name.
Then in the "Type message here " box : put any information you wish to note (ie contact number, method of registration, website for more details, etc)

It will become obvious how to proceed once it starts to be filled in.

I may be attending this competition and it will be my first WIDA and first Open Platform feis.
I've read the syllabus on the WIDA website and I know I need to do the grades feis to do the championship. But what else should I know?
Is the grades feis on the same day as the championship? How does the grades feis run? Is it the pick up system, or is it walk on walk off? What about for the championship?

Unfortunately there are no WIDA or OP competitions where I am (Canada) and so I can't go watch a feis to see how it works.

Thank you for your help! I need it, I'm so confused :p
