ASIAN 2012 Open Platform Feiseanna -- 2012, 07:21:05 12/07/11 Wed
OK ... Having seen that the North American, and European Open Platfrom Feis Listings grow as organizations input their open platform feis offerings .. now to create an ASIAN Open Platform Feis space. :)
ANYBODY can add information to the Feis listings. The goal is that this listing will stay unified without the control of any one person. Meaning: there will be no one person responsible to collect the information from the various organizations or to ensure that what is posted is accurate. But rather, if you are involved with a particular organization then you take responsibility to keep your feiseanna information current and accurate.
So this is how it works: Find the month that your feis falls under for 2012, hit REPLY TO THAT MONTH.
In the "Message subject" box > first put the DATE then follow that with the NAME of the feis, then in brackets the ORGANIZATION hosting (not the school, the organization), and the CITY, COUNTRY (use short forms if needed because of space restrictions).
In the "Name (required)" box type in 2012 (which stand for the year), or your organization's feis coordinator's name.
Then in the "Type message here " box : put any information you wish to note (ie contact number, method of registration, website for more details, etc)
It will become obvious how to proceed once it starts to be filled in.
Open Platform Feiseanna Opportunities -- 2012, 22:07:24 11/28/11 Mon
OK ... Hopefully this will get information OUT THERE but alleviate some of the difficulties.
This way ANYBODY can add information to the Feis listings, yet the goal is that it will stay unified yet not controlled by any one person. Meaning there will be no one person responsible to collect the information from the various organizations or to ensure that what is posted is accurate. But rather if you are involved with a particular organization then you take responsibility to keep your feiseanna current and accurate.
So this is how it works:
Find the month that your feis fall under for 2012, hit reply to that month.
In the "Message subject" box > first put the date then follow that with the NAME of the feis, then in brackets the ORGANIZATION hosting (not the school, the organization),
In the "Name (required)" box type in 2012 (which stand for the year).
Then in the "Type message here " box : put in the CITY where it will be held in, followed by the PROVINCE/STATE/REGION plus the COUNTRY.
Follow that with any information you wish to note (contact number, method of registration, website for more info, etc)
fore example: July 14, 2012 SALINE CELTIC FESTIVAL (INDEPENDENT)
Saline, Michigan, USA
registrations accepted on-line at efeis
My hope is that then if the info has been incorrectly posted > you only need go to the feis, click reply on it and give additional info or words of encouragement or whatever.
