What's the difference with seeing a few wrecked patrol cars and seeing the filthy dirty cars they are using on the street? Want to be bothered? Ask the guys using these cars why they don't take the time to run them through the car wash at least once a month, get them to vacuum up some of those 12 cups of spilled coffee you dumped on the floor just this past week, and what's the deal with playing with a pocket knife and carving on the steeering wheels? Do you treat your own personal car this way? I'm surprised that the animal rights people have not filed suit for the filthy conditions you see in most K9 cars, and how do these guys stand the smell in the cars? It's a disgrace to the whole profession when you don't take care of your equipment.

That is a disgrace. I have spent long periods of time in Europe and I believe there should also be standards of cleanliness for police cars on a Federal level like they have overseasPatrick ......maybe10:19:20 12/16/02 Mon
