I just expected it to be ran better but live and learn" on 11:22:38 03/11/14 Tue I know she was doing her best to make it run smoothly and being a first time what do you really expect? I have been to pageants with my daughter with local directors that have been doing this for years and they are a mess. I was at one last month that may have not been as long but was a 2 day process that was so disorganized that no one knew what was going on. This seems more like you are picking at one person rather than anything. I will say the emails I got were very informative for this. The director wanted to make sure it ran smooth. Things happen. You could have left. I'm just saying. If you can do a better job there's an application on the website. I used to direct in this system, and there are several things that have to be done that you as an audience member don't see. People like you are why no one wants to host prelims anymore. That's why I got out of it. This is a volunteer job and you want to start trashing over hiccups that happen to everyone? When you put your application in to direct then you will have room to talk. Until then if you don't like it, don't go or leave early. Plain and simple. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
