Just because someone is new doesn't mean it's undeserved or they shouldn't win. This program isn't about growth or growing the PROGRAM it is about scholarships. If a girl is new and clearly great she should win if she is the best. Does that mean the judges are told to ask if someone is new? Do they know if they are new? Are they then told to not pick her because she is new? What about people who possibly decide the last year they are eligible should they not try? Your statement is ridiculous.

Good potential for recruiting. But watch the negative posts. That will get you every time.No name00:55:42 03/04/14 Tue

Judges can usually tell if a girl is new because she typically is not as prepared as those who have been doing it. No one is saying that new contestants should never win, but that they are less likely to win. Yes it's about scholarships but it's about SO much more than just thateveryone should try, but have realistic expectations07:58:17 03/04/14 Tue
