Date Posted: 11:14:36 12/04/13 Wed In reply to: 's message, "Not a bad thing" on 21:45:47 12/03/13 Tue As a previous director, and someone who has worked with Haley, I naturally follow what she is doing. I have seen numerous people post support of her on Facebook. When I first read this question, I responded in a defensive manner because I feel like this is not a "simple curiosity". I'm sure that she never imagined that she might win a national pageant but since she has, I think it is important to support her. I'm sure the MKOT directors will follow the rules and she will only compete if the rules allow. As someone who has coached my prelim winners in the past, I know that many girls compete in other systems to gain more experience. You gave yourself away when you publicly starting asking questions about her new role as a national queen on Facebook. Everyone has seen it as it was posted as a comment to her picture. Please be careful- these are young girls who have feelings. Haley is a sweet girl and so is yours. Pointing out other titles and trying to cause trouble won't help the situation and could hurt your girl. Let's not worry about whether she can compete or not- let's just be glad that Ky has a national winner! [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
