There are actually several girls that compete with piercings and tattoos. Of course they all choose to cover them. Miss America gets such a bad name for being so "old fashion". The times have changed and so are the feelings toward tattoos and piercings. We need to realize these are still amazing and talented women. Isn't Miss America about bracing inner beauty? So what does it matter of any of them have piercings! Just my opinion. -- Miss Kentucky Pageant

Facial piercings are not classy and I can't believe any girl competing for miss KY would think that would be a good idea. Them again, the real contenders probably don't have these piercings.
