Just wondering what state you are from. Unless you are from NY or FL what lessons does your state need to learn. I have interviewed Jones, Ferry, Hornback (Miss) in interview and all are strong. Jones and Ferry definitely have both talent that is entertaining. It is clear entertaining or not that Hornbacks talent is not very good. Entertaining is not the single criteria when judging talent there is also mastery of their craft and you don't have to be a dancer to see that neither she nor her sister in teen do not possess true talent. They cover it well with theatrics but there is no real talent there. So, when picking a contestant you have to have it across the board. Thus a Laura Jones in this case has a good interview, beauty and a clear talent that is entertaining.
In teen I have interviewed both Wharton and Easterling. Abby is endearing, delightful and funny and Wharton is engaging, friendly and knowledgeable on many levels. Both girls have true talent as well as being entertaining in their talents. Wharton is a bigger girl all around she will never be skinny she has a true curvy girl look and I didn't see weight gain. She was wearing the same gown and fitness as at state and looked great. She has a striking beautiful face. I do think she could tone up a bit but would not want to see her try to be a skinnie minnie it won't happen for her and shouldn't. She also has a lovely walk in evening gown and a pretty smile. Abby is as cute as they come in her appearance she is darling with those dimples and her wardrobe is fantastic.
I don't think either of those teens won on an " entertaining " talent but both girls were very consistent across the board if they interviewed like I would imagine they did based on the two times I have interviewed both of them.
So, I think KY know they want consistancy across the board in both teen and miss of course every state does. You can't win with a bad talent. You can't win with a bad interview. On the state/national level anyway.

It was a bun wearing a red jersey dress if you ask me. All I noticed was that stupid bun! I don't find her at all attractive and her personality is even worse! Lots of tacky! I'm embarrassed she was chosen withall the other classy ladies thereNo name18:30:04 11/11/13 Mon
