Date Posted: 10:01:40 08/14/13 Wed In reply to: mom 's message, "They are making competition more for your dancers and pianists or other instrumental." on 11:47:03 08/13/13 Tue I disagree with the comment that they are trying to make it easier for dancers piano or other instrumentalists. They are trying to make it consistent across the board. IMO singers have the easiest talent and should have the advantage or be the most prepared. I am not saying that everyone can sing well or that great voices are a dime a dozen I am saying that vocalists should have an advantage because they do not have to perform on different types of stages, or on a keyboard or an untuned piano. They can practice anywhere and perform exercises to get their voice stage ready. If a vocalist performs poorly it is all because of the vocalist. If a dancer performs poorly it could be due to the floor or stage quality or even a malfunction with a shoe. If a pianist performs poorly or cannot produce good sound it easily could be due to the quality of the piano or keyboard. [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] |
