Subject: For anyone who has Pioneer Girl

I finally got around to order Pioneer Girl(only took me 2 mos.) and it came in yesterday. I looked thru it and wait to read it but I was wondering, for those who have it how are youstoring it? I don't want to keep the pages loose and I was thinking of putting them in a binder but it looks like I can't punch holes in some pages because then i be getting the words. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

What I did was buy a big binder and plastic pages with the holes already on the end of them which you slide your paper into. (can't think of the proper name for them:)
I find it's working very well.

You just put them in plastic sleve clovers they have holes in them arlready it makes it better to have them in binders. And it does not cost that much. Hope this helps some.

I did the plastic sleeve thing, too. Make sure you put two pages in each sleeve (back to back) so you read it like a book. Somebody told me that they put them in the sleeves with the opening at the bottom because otherwise all sorts of dust and stuff can fall in the sleeves when the notebook is on a shelf. Seems to me, though, that the pages might fall out if bottom-loaded.

I did the sleeve thing too - never thought of putting them upside down though! LOL!! A tip - you can get a big box of the sleeves at Costco/Sams Club if you have a membership for much cheaper than the office stores :-)

I brought it to a copy shop, and they made a book (paperback) of it.

[> How does PG relate to the LHOP books? -- Ann, 12:48:05 03/14/02 Thu

PG is written as non-fiction, I think, but I am wondering, from reading PG is it clear that Laura's writing is the essence of the LHOP books? What particular aspects seem most related to the books? Characterization? Descriptions? If any aspects seem as if they probably benefited from Rose's editorial help, what are they? Scene transitions? What? Thanks! (Some day I'm going to have to pony up and order PG myself.)
