She decides to risk asking, at last, the question that has been rattling around in her brain ever since she found that energy could be drawn from others.
"Is the one master who would dare to cross that line," she assumes Atumi remembers what she meant. "Is it Wureshi?" she finishes hesitantly. Despite her halting tone, her eyes burn with her hatred of that name as though the flames were within them instead of reflected. Random memories flash through her head, of her family's persecution and fall.
"But then, who else would be so depraved," she finally spits. "Nearly all my faily, dead, Kalata marred beyoned recognition, and that was just one of the sons he trained."
